I now have my first Coleman 200a lantern!

It’s dated 8/71, which will go perfectly with the rest of my 1971 collection: 220F, 228F lanterns and 425E stove. 1971 is not a birth year for me, it just so happens that the 220F was my first Coleman lantern, and the 425E stove was my first Coleman stove (both were gifts). I believe this completes my collection of US made Coleman lanterns produced in 1971 (correct me if I’m wrong please).

For some reason, I haven’t been able to find a 200a in good condition for a reasonable price until recently. The market for these at the moment is very high for various reasons.

Anyway, this one is now a valued piece of my lantern collection.

I also already have two extra red letter 200,201 globes if this one ever cracks (or I find a “fixer-upper” 200a without a globe).

A very tidy acquisition. Will be a good lantern for the campsite.
