Both sons here for Christmas for the first time in almost 30 years. We’ve had a lovely day and instead of eating around the kitchen table set out a proper table which called for a nice table centre. Scarlet VL1 getting its first airing. Hope you all had a great day. 4F65907E-5CE2-4878-84AD-A1BA0B5608DF.jpeg

    That looks splendid Jean.
It's been a white Christmas here in Shetland.

What a stunning centrepiece for a Christmas meal,
    No snow here in Norfolk.

Excellent, Jean. The VL is a stunner.

It's boxing day here: settling in to Australia V England in the Ashes 3rd test.

    Cheers

    Tony

Hello Jean, I did not take any images yesterday and there has been a slow thaw today so most of the snow has gone, but here is an image of my back yard.

We had some snow here last night too - cold and wet and mostly gone now but still some left on car rooves.

Hello Jean, yes, it's still very cold and the garden water barrels will ice over now that the daylight has gone.

    Lovely festive table Jean.
No snow down here on the south coast. 10 degrees grey and damp.

That's a lovely setting, Jean. A Christmas with the family is surely the best present you could have.

The rain started here yesterday evening and it continued through the night and it finally stopped about 1 pm., today, so all of the snow has gone, but it's still cold and there are blocks of ice floating in my garden water barrels.

What a lovely picture John, I’d love a long walk but new puppy is only 9 weeks old. Next Christmas though.

Yes Matt, chuffed to bits but have a feeling the black one will be even harder to find. It’s taken me almost 15 years to collect 4 colours so I’d better get a move on!
