Hi fellas, not a good start to my new year,
Disaster has stuck me, my shelf collapsed, broke away from the wall, I cried
and sobbed for a good half hour, out of control,
    I’m mortified,

The stuff of nightmares, so sorry.

Seeing that mashed Tilley SDR is making me cry, and it's not even mine.

I don’t know what to say Darryl, I would have wept too. On the bright side though (!) things can only get better.

I feel your pain, I had that happen to me. My lamps weren't too badly damaged but 4 shades were destroyed.

Oh no! I have a loose shelf hangar I have ignored for far too long. High priority for me to fix it now.

So sorry to see what happened.

I know what it’s like! Mine collapsed when I was standing under it!! Cut on the forehead and a couple of knots on the top of my head, one cracked globe but no “serious” damage!:rage::mrgreen::thumbdown:
I hope 2022 isn’t going to be another bad year…
    So sorry, Darryl… Damn!

Hell's teeth, that's a bugger and no mistake. Did you lose any glass in the catastrophe? The metal can often be bent into shape but not the globes.

I feel sorry for what happened, Darryl. What a catastrophic start... I'd reckon the lamps should be still restorable.
I don't have shelves for my lamps. I keep the lamps on the floor.

Oh Darryl, that is a serious case of 'duck my luck!"
The poor sdr and 506 to name but a few.
I would hide all the damage until I was ready to deal with it, which might be a long time.
    Bad luck

    James
