Tilley Pl55 in full glory

A grand old Tilley and those are not so common.

 

It took me a while to find one! And the one I found had original paint which was a massive bonus

Very nice, is the control cock valve an aftermarket one?

 

Hi, no it’s an original! I found 5 in one shed a couple of years ago and i thought this lamp deserves one, I have never used aftermarket or reproduce parts! And I can understand why people do but just not fan of putting brand new shiny parts on my lamps, sound a bit snobby! And that’s why I have so many unfinished lamps‍♂️
