Tilley Lamp X246 Brass control cock.

Hi good day to you all .Hope you all well and looking forward (Hopefuly) to getting out and about .
I bought this one in on auction . I did not notice the Knurled brass control cock .
There was an obvious flare up on early lighting up . pump area was like treacle and needed new seals
safty pip /vent was letting by ( wd 40 and a bit of movement on it and now ok) Gentle slow cleaning nothing harsh ,Tank took a bit more effort . All good Dunk test and hold pressure 4 days now .

Nice lamp, it’s an early one. I have seen brass knurled control cock knobs on military PL53s but not on an X246.

Does the instruction sheet have a printers code (It may include date) a sheet for your early 246 does not appear to be in the Reference Library (could you post it please)
