Hello every one hope you have all been keeping well . I have recently received this Coleman 335 dated 1/80 . This is my first lamp if this model and I'm fairly pleased with it, once I gave it a wash and lick of autosol then results were very good . However there are a couple of issues I don't know about firstly what is the purpose of the screw hole in the burner frame and secondly the fuel pickup tube, when screwed in tight the actual tube still moves ,will this be a issue with the fuel sir pick up? Thanks and keep smiling marten
Tbe burner nozzle is attached to a tube which slides up inside the burner, it is held in place by the screw that is missing. You need a screw 1/4 inch long x 1/8 x 32t.p.i. to hold the tube in place and seal the hole. " . . the fuel pickup tube," If you mean the tube inside the tank, as far as I know, it should not move once tightened.
Thanks Henry ,I have a screw on its way to me . Yes it's the tube that goes inside the tank that's attached to the control valve . Thanks marten
