Hi fellas, a radius 119 pricker, the Preston loop generator looks ok the jet is 1/2 screwed in, the pricker is rather different, I’ve not seen one of any quite like it
Is it a standard shape or is it a home made job.
    Any ideas much appreciated 93BCC2B0-D23F-4E9A-8F4C-C413DBC86A92.jpeg 209275D1-6D8C-4AC6-B71A-E811E7467858.jpeg 86BB92F0-CFBF-4B05-8CF4-C04143FE81C0.jpeg

That doesn't look like any Radius 119 prickers I've seen.

Gloria in Australia sometimes had tapered steel prickers.

I've got a spare 119 pricker if you want one.

    Cheers

    Tony

Cheers @Tony, I have pricker for it and new jet, I was amazed at the spiraled taper, there some skills and tooling there. Let alone insert a fine pricker wire

Never seen this kind of pricker on a lantern here in Sweden. But if it works its a good solution.

Nice lantern by the way. I have one in the more common nickle variant.

    Regards Matti

Looks homemade and possibly twisted that way while trying to remove it. I have repaired the prickers myself by joining the lower part of a radius pricker with a p-max type pricker and working the brass down to fit the Radius jet.
Also used a Valor Veritas gas stove jet in a Radius 119.
    It works well.

Looks like it started life as the standard square profile Radius cleaning needle. It must have got stuck and twisted severely when excessive force was applied. Then some attempt must have been made to make something that works out of the remains.
