1922 Nagel Chase model 38 pendant

    This is a 300 cp kerosene pendant lamp by Nagel Chase. The globe is not correct. I have taken an American gas globe for an upright lamp which has the right size fitter. It is a tad short but does look OK. You can see the supplementary heater tube in the burner image which indicates this is a kerosene burner. ::Neil::

    Yes they are. NC pendants are not really common but none of the examples I know of show any signs of corrosion so whatever NC did to protect them it is very effective.

    NC made about 17 different model pendant lamps with that Ball fount between about 1915 to 1930ish. Before 1920 the mid seam was riveted but otherwise they are pretty much the same for all models. ::Neil::
