I have a couple Coleman kero lanterns that have the notch in the preheat cup for one end of the wick to lay so as to easily light the preheat fuel. What size and source for it in the USA? Thank you.

Was asbestos what they used back then. I have a few myself too. Haven’t tried to find a wick replacement yet. I hope you find an answer soon

    Hi there
I don’t have any lamps like yours but just had a look on fleabay and somebody does the wood burner door seal in 3mm (1/8”) so perhaps that might work??
    It is asbestos free string

It’s about 1.5mm. Use wick lamp wick.

    Cheers
