Inserting a photo into a forum post

I tried to add a photo from my photo library but it said it had a .png extension. Any help please?

 

Your pictures should preferably be jpeg's, so you need to convert your .png files.
Extensions like .jpg or .jpeg is fine to upload.
Gif's are fine too.

 

Thanks Carlsson - so my photo was in my photo library on my iPad as .png - how do I convert it?

Any editing of a png image on an i-device should convert it to jpeg. I usually just hit the “wand” button and save it again.

“Screen shots” are saved as png on an i-device; photos as jpeg.
