Tilley heater twin burner R22

Hi fellas, how cool is this, a twin burner Tilley heater, as found condition, missing the wire mesh globes and one burner seems the thread is either worn or a bit stripped.

 

An excellent restoration project.

 

Hope you found it in Australia @Darryl Durdin and didn’t have it shipped! We were glad of ours to heat the shower room during our 5 days without power a few months ago.

 

They are great heaters, with the added bonus that you can run either or both burners

The R22 radiator is a lovely model and with the copper back plate polished up really reflects the heat out, not many of these in the reference gallery so it would be nice to see the end result in there.
