Just want to say Hello to the people I met there in 2010 - hope you have a great time and a repeat of the weather we had then.

Me too! I am arriving Thursday while it is hopefully dry. May need a hand to put up the only tent that I have; a four-man rubbish thing, that is almost impossible to get up by oneself in a blow. All helpers will be paid in beer! Steve.

I'm arriving on Saturday, bringing the caravan so hopefully no problems with leaks may just get stuck on the field. I might need a push... Steve, all helpers will be covered in mud

Hi Matthew, By Saturday I will probably need pulling out of the mud myself. Am taking a big powerful Anchor lamp and a Tilley R1 heater in case I need drying out. Someone told me years ago that I should start drying out! Never took any notice though. See you there - Steve.

OK, but I want the top bunk. I always like to sleep nearer to (or preferably with) angels. [-o<

Steve, if you need more heat then I got three R1's coming with me  . I've started packing, the house is looking a bit empty now.

Al, How much are you charging for a tow . You might need to tow me all the way home if I brake down. Doesn't look like you are too far away from me.

Ha  I don't have a VL 1 for myself let alone one that I can trade for a tow. Perhaps I can haggle and talk you down to a pint and a bacon sandy ;)

Now you're just being silly, Nigel - that bell tent won't leak. We tested them at Sykeside in 2005.

I'm at Newark on Friday but buggering-off back home the same day - too soft these days to camp out in anything other than perfect weather...
