I got an old Radius 120 pressure lamp yesterday in Brass. Haven't seen any in brass before. A nice lamp. Need some more polish and a new glass. Someone knows anything about these brass models?
Wonderfull lantern. I love the 120. But I dont know about brass models, maybe the experts here know more. But I would like to see more pictures. The collar, handle and so on. Is there a big rectangular hole for the wheel in collar? Thanks for sharing.
There is not much catalogue evidence from the early 1930s. From what I could find, there was no mention of a brass model 120. They only mention the nickel plated version. It is quite possible that this was originally nickel plated and has had the plating removed at some point in it's life. Polished brass was in fashion in the 1970s and 1980s. It is nice that it still has the original vapouriser. A lot of them (not that there are a lot of 120s around) have been replaced with a 119 vapouriser. It needs a few parts, but it should restore well.
