Hi all, Here is an example of the Summit N°266B from Guerrit Janssen in Holland. This lantern asked me for an important job. It was necessary to straighten and rebalance the structure of the lamp, the handle was twisted. The lantern was embedded in a transparent varnish that was very difficult to remove. The generator with its asbestos lining was embedded in crystallized carbon with rust-rotting steel wire. I prepared a new trim backed with nichrome wire. I replaced a micro stainless steel mesh filter under the needle in place of the old one which was rotten. I built a new mica globe as the lantern arrived without a globe. When I received this lantern I realized that it was going to take me a lot of time to succeed in finding a correct result. Now the pressure holds well, the air flow seems constant and regular, there is no leak. The needle and the nozzle are present and in good condition. I'm going to take the pump leather again because the pumping and a little asthmatic. I just want to be rewarded by its light, with a few days off I'm going to take the time to try lighting it.
