    Saw this in antique shop and never ever seen one before.     It’s probably not a “frankie”.

    Union Metal Works, Hong Kong, made many different products under different names.

    The Tilley-like hood and burner appear on other Union Metal Works lanterns.

    @Mackburner has Solar “Minor” 300cp lantern listed in the Pressure Lamp Catalogue.

    It's an interesting lantern... and $59 isn't too much given its apparent rarity. How it got to the States is anyone's guess!

    A bit much perhaps but these are not common I don't think I know of more than maybe 4 or 5. If I didn't already have one I would have haggled some and come away with it. ::Neil::
