Primus 1320

    Hello everybody!

    This is my Primus 1320, manufactured in 1956, buyed this week. Burns with alcohol and alcohol preheating.

    Very nice lantern you have there.

    This looks like the ones that came from the Danish military. They were converted from existing 1020s which is why there is only a paper label with tape over it.

    Unfortunately I don't know much more than that. All I know is that these lamps appeared in military surplus in Denmark quite a number of years ago. I have only seen them here, so assumed that they were either converted by the military themselves or they had a sub contractor to do it. I have never seen any documentation about this, so it is all an educated guess.
