I have an old classic Solex 200 pressure lamp that I would like to put back into operation, during a check I realized that the air pump gasket is worn and broken due to too long inactivity, I kindly ask you where I can find a spare or how I can replace it with material other than the original for example: rubber or nylon, I ask if you can find a copy or photo copy of the user manual. Thanks for your help !!
I bought two leather pump cups for the Aladdin A 1. One went into the A 1 and the other into the Solex 200, the Solex being about the brightest and best of all my small lanterns. Try Fettlebox, as listed at top of home page. Paul.
thanks ...... I hope to reactivate the lamp with your help ..... always available to listen to your advice !!
There is a set of instructions in the Reference Library https://classicpressurelamps.com/threads/solar-pressure-lantern-instructions.10742/
I measured the internal diameter of the air pump pipe which is 17 mm, the thickness of the old gasket is about 8 mm I think I get the new one from hydraulic gaskets, what advice can you give me. Thanks
I'm sorry ........ I meant "pump washer" ....... your material must be categorically in Premium leather?
