Man it was hidden well. At first I found this peace upstairs and I knew it was for something but didn't know what. Then I found this hidden in a box deep in the back of the basement!!! I know it's not a lamp but some kind of portable cooking stove? One of the legs is broken off so I gotta fix it it's just solder but it's beautiful I think. Can anyone give me any information on it!!! Thanks guys!!
Neat Solus stove!! Coleman had some items built in England, but I know little about them. You'll probably get the most help over at the Classic Camp Stove forum. Classic Camp Stoves
Thanks originally I found this upstairs and I was like WTF is this? And what's it used for? and when I found this hidden deep in the basement I mean it was where the other lamps were besides the indoor table ones but it was hidden where when I cleaned out that spot I found it. And thanks for the information!! Should I repair it myself and what kinda stuff should I watch out for?
Have a look here Coleman Solus - all models The stove has a silent burner attached. The inner and outer burner caps are missing. The Optimus Primus burner looks new. It's known as a roaring burner because it's loud. The flame ring is missing. The roarer will screw onto the Solus
The burners, if they are the same as the one in your photo (Optimus-Primus), are not “super rare”. But they are desirable. Tony
I'm asking about the hole unit and I have 3 burners 2 are the same like what's in the picture but also 1 seems like it's the one that came with the unit
