Hi all, This is the same lamp that @Mark B shows in this thread .............. Tures Portable Lamp ............. but here now restored and working. As Neil said in the earlier thread ... this Tures table lamp configuration was probably only used for a short period in and around 1910. A lot to do with this lamp, resoldering the fount connections and fix the pricker assembly. Also had to fix a proper gas burner and shade. A very effective burner, this Tures burner. It only needs a limited number of pump strokes for getting a big Bunsen flame. This type of Tures burner was said to give 600 CP. /Conny Two Tures table lamps with the same burner configuration ........
Conny, it looks great! Thanks for letting me know. So very glad that you gave it a proper restoration and that it made the journey to you safely from Montana USA. MarkB
@Mark B Mark - Well ...... one more saved and this is a truly unique lamp, thanks! @Jean J Jean - Thanks, and I am weirdly satisfied having this one saved and added to my colletion /Conny
