Tilley KL80 — Gold-painted.

I have acquired a Tilley KL80 that is painted with the same gold paint as the “pork pie” X246 lanterns.

My question is: are gold-painted KL80s common in the UK or elsewhere?

I'd say, the gold ones are 50/50 with the cream ones, if you look on Ebay UK most of the tanks are gold
