Having spent the afternoon on workshop improvements I needed to remember why I was doing it. So finished the day with a light up of the Coleman 427, recently completed by the addition of a winged filler cap. It certainly looks the part now!

Good working , nicely restored lantern. I can never cotton to the pump of the 427, kind of throws off the aesthetics.

@Hanzo - I was drawn to the extended pump version of the 427 specifically because of the look of the pump. The 427 with the integral pump looks a lot like the 327, which I already have. That’s the great thing about this hobby though, there’s something out there for everyone. Hopefully my tastes are completely different to everyone else’s, less competition in the auctions!

:-) I would like to add a 427 with the integrated pump at some point. It’s just not at the top of the list yet. I’m currently on the lookout for the right Primus. But sometimes interesting lanterns come and find me regardless of what I think is next on my list!!!

Just what I was thinking @Rangie Unfortunately that corner is now full but, I have left some space elsewhere.
