I wish I had a heater like this but it is in a local museum. I have been cataloging their collection on a voluntary basis and have not yet been able to determine it's manufacturer. It is not really similar to the Coleman heaters I can see in CPL.

My guess is American and very early, perhaps nineteen-twenties. I'm presuming Coleman fuel or equivalent. Maybe it could be Australian Gloria too. Perhaps the rivetted fount may give a clue.

    Anyway here are some pictures.

I concur with your opinion of the heater, but cannot identify it.

This is the kettle and iron Graham mentioned.

Iain, keep an eye out for the kettle holding attachment.

Thanks @Tony Press , @Anthony , @Graham P for the info and tips re the heater identification and accompanying kettle and iron.

@Anthony - I will check carefully to see if the kettle is floating around too.

@Tony Press - Yes; I do remember you working with the hollow wire. That was great meet at Staffordshire Reef.

@JEFF JOHNSON - I think we were on the right track.

@Walkop - Indeed an interesting one.

Finally, re the kettle. A pressure kettle. A whole new category for me to collect; just what I don't need.[-(
