This chandelier was found in a village hall in Aberdeenshire which was built in 1928. 1326803960-_DSC0008_20120117_5866.JPG

Nice lamp to find and looking good. I always wondered about these. With two 300 cp burners they will only run for about 6 hours. I suppose that would be just about enough for an evening do. ::Neil::

Hi jean what a very nice find both the shades are complete and all the plaiting looks from the pic in very good condition,
that would look superb if it was hung from a lounge ceiling

Thanks for the comments but feel a bit of a fraud as I forgot to mention that the shades came off 2 Aladdin lamps and are probably modern repros!

Makes no difference. The original shades are not easy to find and tend to be expensive. Looks OK and that will do for me. ::Neil::

Super nice lamp. I just bought one and am looking for the part that allows it to be hung. Do you know where i can find parts for it?

I think some other chandeliers would have a similar bit for hanging, hopefully you will find something or be offered it. Will you be posting pics of what you have?

    Welcome aboard!

You could have the hanging rod made, Jeff.

Yes, could’ve been a male or female but surely gone from CPL. Pity, I would have liked to see the 66.00 bargain but didn’t see any uploaded pic.
