I got a new lamp today. Does anyone know what type of bialaddin it is, or is it a mixture?
I haven't lit it yet as i'm still in the middle of undoing it all and putting new washers in. 1340640633-2012-06-25_15.19.45.jpg

Thanks Paul, good to know. Its a bit scruffy, has a biggish dent in it and the top's got enamel flaking off but no holes so thats good.

You are partially to blame for this Longilily.
I have to admit, i've had a bit of help from my son on this one as I wasn't able to unscrew some of the what I thought were seized bits and he did them for me.

Nice old Vapalux. Has to be 1941 or 1942 with that brass tank with pressure tit. It has a later meth cup and probably the wrong globe but that is being picky because they don't turn up so often now. It will restore and run too. ::Neil::

What type of meth cup and globe would it have had originally do you think?
