According to Neil's PLC these were first advertised in 1949. I'm not sure how long they were offered.

I'm also curious as to the differences between the 3927 & 3927A if anyone knows.

Hey Toby, could you do me a huge favor and tell me the dimensions of the globe in the 3927-A? I don't have any AGM models in my lantern globe spreadsheet yet. If you have any other AGMs I'd be very grateful if you could tell me their measurements also.

    Cheers
    Colin

PS, you'll find a downloadable version of the latest globe spreadsheet in this thread... Lantern Glass Reference spreadsheet

Colin I'll confirm tomorrow, but it should be compatible with the 220/228 Coleman globes.

That's a nice looking lantern. Just some wishful thinking that I would ever find any AGMs around my area.

Excellent. I'll add the AGM 3927-A provisionally as the same as the 220. I can always alter it if it turns out to be slightly different.
Do you have any other AGM lanterns and if you do, do they use the same size globe?

    Cheers
    Colin

@ColinG sorry for the delay, seems my email notifications are a bit delayed today. I just confirmed the globe above is the exact same dimensions as the common Coleman 220/228's.

I'm not sure of any other double mantle AGM's here that use a glass globe... I have several later single mantles, but they all use the Coleman small bulge globe dimensions also. If I can be if any other help just let me know.

    Excellent, thanks Toby.

So, apart from the3927-A, which other AGMs use the larger, 220 size globe, as I'll list them all. And, which of the other AGMs use the small, bulged globe? This will be incredibly helpful.

    Cheers
    Colin

@ColinG I'm not well versed on AGM model numbers, but I will do my best to get you a list of what I do have and what sizes the globes are. From what I remember they are pretty much the same diameter as the equivalent Coleman of the given era... The exception being those with mica as they were a bit shorter.
