Do you have a dedicated lamp room within your house?

I was wondering how many members have a dedicated lamp room?

I’ve recently moved house, downsizing! I had a lamp room at the old house, I’m going to dedicate a bedroom at the new place for lamps.
Too cold and damp here to be messing around in a shed!

No, I don't the luxury of a dedicated room or a garage for my lamps or lanterns.
Most of them are in my 'sleeping-room' and I'm sleeping just within an arm's reach from them. No shelves, no boxes, just standing bare on the floor. I don't have a bed, so its not a bedroom. Pretty much as 'Spartan' a condition as is.
Almost all of them are still in their 'as found', unfettled states. Most of the restored ones reside in another non-dedicated room in the house. All on the floor too, with remaining fuel in their founts. Almost all were in working conditions, at least since they were last lighted up.

 

My best lamps are in spare room and is full, so I've them in the shed as well.

 

Any flat surface in the house, garage and shed.....
Btw some are also hanging on the wall.

I mostly collect stoves, only 20 or so lamps, I keep most in my garage and some scattered in my place. My gear room. I mostly post in CCS.

I placed the main part of the collection at the workplace. My wife does not really like my hobby, but now I get positive feedback from my visitors.

 

@gena88 you have some fine looking lanterns!
Do you still have any of the Russian made lanterns for sale?

 

I've the one lamp in my 'special' room. It's an electric factory conversion from Optimus. A few other users dotted around the house & workshop.

 

I have one repeat, I would change it to some interesting lamp, but I don’t think this is realistic with the current state of the world.

 

I'm still waiting for my daughter to move out so I can have her room, then I'll have room in my shed for more lamps.

 

I have a few lamps in the house I run from time to time but I am fortunate to be able to put most of them together in the celler.
Some pictures from a few years back I don't have all this lot nowadays.

with me being sick and being unable to manage too well, my work area (garage) has gone to hell in an apple cart! Can’t keep it tidy anymore. So many thing are falling along the wayside… really have to get well before I can do much else!
