Tilley AL620 pump

    Can anyone please tell me the size of the thread at the pump leather end of the shaft

    I removed this pump from the fount today and found it sheared. Wasn’t like this when I last used the pump but I guess it must have been cracked and just waiting to break.

    According to my measurements it's No. 8 U.N.F. (5/32" x 36t.p.i.).

    Checking the nut from a 246B pump against a tap I get 3BA (which is a very similar size; IIRC 3BA bolt will screw into #8 UNF nut.)

    @steerpike451 Thanks for the info. If there’s a couple of options it’ll make it easier to find a die.
