I don't understand your question. Which two models are you talking about? There have been several different variations of the 1200 and three different models that I can think of (1200, 1200B, 1200M).

There are no markings on the lamp for either the 1200B or 1200M. They all only have 1200 on the tank. The 1200M is easy as it is the brass version. M is for "messing" which is brass in Swedish. The 1200B can only be distinguished by the vapouriser. The B version does not have the loop at the top of the vapouriser. Otherwise there is no difference that I can think of at the moment (I am not near all my resources).
