Nice display there and I like your tee shirt too.
Good luck mate, as you already know, winning $3 is not the entire issue, it’s the showing that’s the fun.
    Have fun
    Pete

Great display. I hope some joker isn’t tempted to go for a ‘basket’ with your display underneath.

That's a great display. I was like the general public, I didn't know pressure lanterns existed. When I bring lanterns to campgrounds people look at them in wonder and fascination many young people have never seen a pressure lantern let alone one working. Even if I am outside lighting lanterns I've had people from other countries who grew up with pressure lamps and they have moist eyes as it reminds them of their childhood back in Africa lighting up the family Petromax.

So I think there'll be interest from the public seeing the display especially if the lantern are lit maybe.

Definitely two or three at least. As long as it's O.K. with the Health & Safety guys of course.

Hi there. The display is in a basket ball stadium. They would not allow them to be lit. Depending on how much interest I get maybe next year I’ll set up a practical display out side maybe along with my blacksmiths friends

They do have a wide range of displays. In where my lanterns are, in the hobbies section, lego is popular, we do have a cookery section, jams , preserves, cake and decorations, wool spinners, electric train.paintings, photographs, hand made cloths, quilts. In a separate parvillion flowers and veg , schools exhibit from the children, it’s a general show ow all things, however it is getting smaller and less business houses, plenty of cheap stuff and the amusement rides, if we don’t go the show will stop one day

Darryl, did same as you at Jeparit Show in 2019. Whyalla must be a bigger show with that $3.00 prize money. ;)

Looks a good display. Good luck.
