    If you look closely you can see the cleaning needle - Ssimply amazing!

    Was that listed on ebay? if so i saw that too and was tempted even though i don't have any Veritas lanterns, i did own a new old stock Veritas vapouriser a few years ago but think it may have been for the 350 as it was different.

    This Veritas Superb vaporizer looks to be well made.
    It is similar in construction to the Tilley and Bialaddin vaporizers.
    With that said it's too bad Tilley and Bialaddin didn't make vaporizers with removable and replaceable jets.

    It was listed on eBay and arrived with the 350 mantle.

    More like a Coleman or Astromax I would say, it is straight yes....

    I find the Veritas Superb very similar to the US designed lanterns, with its positive shut-off valve, separate pricker mechanism, brass generator with replacement jets and the side air tube very much like Coleman lanterns. Indeed the Superb was re-badged by Coleman in the US as the 239 'Ranger' and honestly, it fits right into their existing range.
