In 1915, association with ...Gosse until 1920/21. Albert Bardeau participates in the First War. He entrusted the company to Gosse and will receive the decoration of the Legion d'Honneur. Gosse will remain administrator of the company after 1920. The SECIP brand is recorded. I lose the hint just before the Second World War. This lamp is a 80/100 candles power. On the same model, there is a more powerful burner of 200/250 CP. The gallery is not original, this is a Tito Landi. As I have never seen this lamp and I have only very vague images from catalogs, I had to imagine its appearance. The burner, patented in 09/1921, is very characteristic. I found 25 patents claimed by this company. The lamp could be placed as here or presented in a suspension (n°2707) The burner was in good condition and almost complete, but the tank had several leaks and a large hole whose function I do not know since these lamps did not have a pressure pressure gauge. The most problematic leak was at the junction of the two half parts that form the reservoir. The hole was closed with a brass washer. Now the leaks are blocked. The lamp works very well with kerosene. I still have to do a support for the mantle and look for such a small mantle. ;-)
Hi all I found a very small straight mantle I had to weld a sleeve support device because there were none on the burner (probably lost) Preheating with a "taupette", the burner heats very quickly. And here it is:
