Hi Folks, I'm building up one of my R55s into an R501. Its the cream tank version with gold pump/gold band on the bottom rim and gold on the rear of the reflector. Now then, has anyone seen a cream R501 in the flesh? The bracket and stand, what complimentary colours were they? Both gold? or was the bracket cream? A moss/metallic green example HERE is all the same colour However, the shading of these ADVERT ADVERT INSTRUCTIONS would tend to suggest the stand at least is gold My RH57 has a light brown stand, but I believe they have subtly different schemes yet again. @Anthony thanks for that. There looks to be a line above the pinstripes which suggests they may be stick-on Looks nice though, subtle. The gold of the stand looks to be darker than the gold on the base rim, a bit like the gold on the rear of the reflectors that (seems to) dull darker with time/heat cycles. The BROCHURE from Mick Emm which mentions colour combinations suggests a fawn heater with a fawn stand. Other examples however suggest otherwise! After digging around I've found a moss green heater with moss green stand HERE, a silver heater with silver stand HERE, and another fawn heater with gold stand HERE. I think I've convinced myself to pair a cream/fawn R55 with gold R501 "accessories" Alec.
