I've had this 300x a while now, what I'd refer to as my 'go to lamp' that I use regularly, know its going to light easily etc etc. It was bare brass when it came into my ownership, and I've always had the intention to paint it. Now I've painted it, it seems too good to use now, and has gone onto my display shelf in the house

Looks good mate, don’t let it become a shelf queen, sneak it back into the workshop when she’s not looking..:lol:

Lovely paint job on a nice lamp, but as she is a reliable user I'd venture to say carry on using her with pride in a job well done.

Sometimes the best thing to do with a restored lamp is light and enjoy it until it needs restoring again.
