1942 Vapalux 300 steel tank fettle

    25489.jpeg 1111221638.jpg 1111221638a.jpg This took awhile to get finished as I had to get some parts from the UK. I had some RAF blue aerosol mixed and top coated it with VHT semi gloss clear. The curing process for the VHT made it a little bit glossy. I appreciate the help I received from members here to complete.

    The lantern with the well painted tank shows a 1943 top,
    the last pic shows a 1942 top. Just curious how this goes
    together? One tank with two tops or two lamps?
