    My first tilley lamp X246b (made in March 1967) replaced washers etc, few problems, i purchased the SP1 Tilly Service pack, not realising that the pump NRV was the round old type, please point me in the right dicrection for that one, also, i am awaiting an older X246a, to be delivered, could you also point me in the right direction for washers needed for that one please

    Thanks
    Nick

    It is going well Nick - well done :thumbup:
    washer sets and more are available from the site sponsor Tilley - The Fettlebox. It is the same kit for A and B (apart from the square thing you know about) . Many people replace the square ones with the round washer + brass cup.

    Congratulations Nick, you have it working nicely. :thumbup:

    The 246A will have the same seals as this one.

    @NickGill

    A good first fettle, well done!

    I cut my teeth on X246B’s and although they are not the build quality of the earlier guardsmen models they are perfectly respectable providing they are maintained and not over pumped.

    Good luck with the X246A.

    Regards, Jeremy
