G'day all, This is one of the few lamps I bought last weekend,an Aladdin. I can't see a serial number on it.Should there be and where is it located ? I'm also wondering when was it was made ? While I'm here,could anyone identify the 'mystery lamp' please . Many thanks to you all .. Charlie.
Welcome to CPL @Chrlie Forrest The Aladdin is a model 1A, there weren't any marking to identify them. Dating is difficult but I'd go the 1950's. Aladdin 1A lantern circa ?1950's/60's? The mystery lantern is an Australian made KAYEN AP2 Kayen Both lanterns should clean up nicely.
