20221215_113207.jpg 20221215_113328.jpg This Coleman Quick Lite came in a lot of three lanterns and I don't really know anything about it. What model is it? The date code on the bottom is 3/1; does this mean January of 1933? Also, is the vent correct for this lantern, because it looks like the stud sticks out way too far from the top. Any help is greatly appreciated.

This is a 427 lantern. You are correct on the date, altho they were often reversed in the early 30's and sometimes even stamped upside. That is the correct vent, altho it has seen better days.

Here is one similar, yet a little older on the right.

Cool, I wonder if it would be feasible to grind down an old 220 E vent to fit.

It works perfect. Only way to tell from an original is the bare steel on the cut which can't been seen on the lantern.

Does the porcelain not chip too bad around the edges?
