A recent auction win, which looking at the reference gallery appears to be a Dutch Summit 266A. My reading led me down a rabbit hole of Nulite linked lanterns.Would love to know more about these.

Apart from a few decades of “patina” it looks to be in pretty good shape. Examples I’ve seen have had a mica chimney. I presume a mica chimney would be original?

Looking forward to this one. Anyone got any advice?

It is certainly intriguing to find out what is under the dirt. The only examples I’ve seen have been plated rather than bare brass. I can see a hint of something nickel coloured around the pump, but it could be solder possibly. Very exciting either way!

The clean up will be fairly straightforward. Need to find a solution for the missing burner cap. I’ve replaced the mesh on caps before but never had to replace one completely. It looks rather small and a very fine thread!

@Scott D I've been watching the auction and even thinking about a bid,
but then stayed away. I thought about a rare pre war lamp and possibly
missing parts could cause some trouble.
I really like that it's now yours and hope you'll bring it to light.

I’ve got a repro nulite generator and a burner cap on the way from OCP that should hopefully do the job. Then it’s just a mica chimney. I’ve been meaning to make one for a while and this could be the project.
