It looks to me to be a Nulite, possibly 5M.

    Thank you @Matty and @WimVe.

A Nulite 5M with an external pump?
The height hood is also interesting.
Very similar lamps were also offered in Germany. (1927) IMG_20201113_221506.jpg IMG_20201113_221430.jpg

The Nulite 5 model came with and without external pump.

I noticed the height of the hood but put it down to just how the photo was displaying.

It is quite possible that this lamp was retailed by any or all of the companies you and Martin K mention.

If Nulite isn't stamped on the flat edge of the burner supports and this lamp was found in Germany, it is highly unlikely to have been manufactured by Nulite. I'd lean towards Hasag.

It appears to me like an early American-styled lantern. Or Storm King-styled? I'd be tempted to regard some of these as 'Nulite clones' too.:) Or Hasag?
Just like in the case of 'Petromax clones'.

I have now disassembled and cleaned the lamp. I couldn't find any letters or numbers on the parts. Almost all parts are non-magnetic and in surprisingly good condition.

That looks like a good quality lantern to me. Regardless of who the manufacturer was.
Wished I could find these types of lanterns in my area.:)

Now the old lamp shines again. The generator had small holes at the bottom.I soldered them with silber solder.Because the generator was also clogged,I had to drill it free.I moved the carrying frame a little so that you can pump.I replaced the broken parts of the mica globe and the missing side door with leftovers.I run them with non-aceton brake cleaner. It shines for many hours without pumping.

Were the American Nulite M5 and their European license replicas manufactured in the same period as the Coleman LQ 327 and 427 ?

Why did the American manufacturers choose the two-burner system ?

Thank you for the nice interesting document, which also explains the advantages of the two-burner system.

Being a cynical old git I suspect the main advantage was more mantle sales. ::Neil::

Today I got a new generator from America.
    Halleluja
It's longer than the old one and works well.
I had to move the cage a bit off center so that I could put the pump on the valve. IMG_20221210_190827.jpg IMG_20221210_183518.jpg IMG_20221210_191230.jpg

Nice to see such a well preserved old lamp given the gift of new generator bright white light.
A great find and a great fettling result.

I'm looking for a new mica globe and a suitable pump for my unmarked Nulite M 5.The pump should be a bit thinner at the front. Or should I mill out a piece of the lower plate as marked ?

My opinion if this lantern is indeed a Nulite, it is a model 2M, particularly because it has the inner flat frame burner support.
Model 5 used a single rod support. The air intake enters the chamber at an angle.
