I wasn't sure if i should list this here or on CCS ,but as there has been some previous discussions, so here it is.

Here is my Australian Aladdin heater. They were advertised as a heater that came with pot stands and a trivet to convert to a stove but I don’t have the pieces for the stove conversion.

    Fuel type: Kerosene

The components are chrome plated (except for the burner).

The burner is the same as found on the Aladdin 2 burner stove. It attaches to the riser with a captive nut and an aluminium washer for a seal. This allows alignment of the control spindle with the slot in the reflector. The thread at the bottom of the riser is braised on (no adjustment here). As with the 2 burner stove the priming cup rotates freely.

Looking at the advertising https://classicpressurelamps.com/threads/aladdin-heater-cooker-1934-to-1954.21692/ and the similarities to the 2 burner stove, I believe the Australian made version was produced late 1948 to 1954. Unfortunately there is a severe shortage of catalogues to support this theory.

    Excellent!

I agree with you that this style of Aladdin heater/stove was made in Australia, and your time line is a good evaluation. Thank you.

Stunningly good condition and excellent writeup. Must throw out some heat with that chromed reflector.

Thanks for the positive comments and @Walkop yes, it does throw out a lot of heat. mind you, it was 30+ deg C in the shed when I tested it .

I love that you can adjust the heat without the need to play with the pressure in the tank.
    Cheers, Francisc
