We know in the 1930’s that Aladdin was not the manufactures and Radius was manufacturing appliances that were sold by Aladdin Industries under the brand name Aladdin. These early Aladdin Heater Stoves were Unbranded RADIUS model 33 The advertising Aladdin Heater Cooker 1934 to 1954 | Classic Pressure Lamps & Heaters shows they were sold in Australia as Aladdin from 1934 to 1940. They were advertised as a heater that came with pot stands and a trivet to convert to a stove but I don’t have the pieces for the stove conversion. Fuel type: Kerosene The components are nickel plated. My heater was found with an unregulated burner. I tried fitting a regulated burner from an Aladdin 2 burner stove. Only to find that the height of the control spindle didn’t allow the reflector to sit properly in the mountings. Measurements were taken comparing the Australian burner with a Radius burner. The measurements confirmed that the control spindle on the Radius was 10mm lower. Thanks to Tony Press for providing measurements from a Radius Burner. The burner fitted at present is an Optimus with an Aladdin control spindle. The thread at the top of the riser is braised on (no adjustment here). The burner attaches to the riser with the standard fiber washer seal. The riser attaches to the fount with a captive nut and a tapered collar for a seal. This allows alignment of the control spindle with the slot in the reflector. The side of the fount is stamped E just below the handle and the baseplate is stamped 5. Note: the seal in the pressure relief filler cap should have had 6 holes around the center hole. My stamping was a little off.
