Hello every one hope you are all keeping well. Over the past few months I have done a fair bit of research regarding paint colours , RAF air ministry mainly . Pre war leading up to the battle of Britain the colour would have been RAF blue grey,battle of Britain to 1945is it was traffic blue for all ground support equipment (gse) then RAF blue grey reintroduced but with a different tint . Can any of you possibly inform me as to the type of paint used back then ,cellulose or enamel for example . Thanks marten
Hi Gary thanks for the info . I have seen that type of paint before so I shall have another look for it ,handy that it's in a rattle can,other types of military paint I have seen are brush or roller applied .
