This is a Canadian 242B "Sportlite" I picked up here in Australia, dated March 1947 ("47 3"). I've kept the original paintwork as it came with a "Seafoam" tank and collar. You might note that in some of the "detail" photos the fuel control block is 90 degrees off. That's how it came and it was working; but in the end I positioned it correctly and locked the thread with Locktite. Note: Aluminium air tubes. Note the five small dimples in the base plate. Testing Up and running The gasoline 242B and the kerosene 249 are great lanterns. Cheers Tony
