This is a Coleman CQ dated October 1925, made in Canada.

Found in Australia, this lamp came with a Coleman 318 glass shade, and the No. 333 insect screen shown here).

The fuel control stem assembly is obviously a replacement.

Note the short handle. It is stamped "Made in Canada/ Coleman Quick-Lite/ CQ/ Coleman Lamp Co. Ltd/ Toronto Canada"

The replacement fuel control stem assembly (probably from a later Canadian Coleman table lamp).

The R55 generator, which was gently put back into shape, is stamped with the Coleman sunshine image and "Made in Canada".

The "universal" shade holder seems to be in too good condition to be original to the lamp.

    Another solid, reliable Coleman CQ.

Excellent mate, a question though why didn't you put the No. 333 insect screen back on?

I’m waiting to match it with a No. 333 1/2 top insect screen.

    Cheers
