Received an primus 1015/4/6 however the wooden handle was cracked due to the age, so I decide make one according to the photos of the parts manuls. Can anyone have the size of the wooden handle? Thanks
Hi QCAlex, Here is a lamp that I really like for the simplicity of its elegance, I possesede the 1015/4 (R29) 1927 model for many years from in my collection, this is the year the model was launched with the small dome of the burner and the globe. original in white opal and the nickel-plated tank option 4, my lamp is in perfect original and working condition. Over the years the design of the handle has evolved, you should indicate the stamp code under the tank, this will give a good indication for the handle of your Primus 1015 table lamp. Regards, Titoo.
Thanks for your reply, I will double check the bottom of the tank, it should be around 1928 ,but I will definitely see which year is it, Primus lanterns and stoves is the best in my personal opinion , reliable, simple, and well made those days(about 90-100years ago) perhaps? this handle I DIY not correct according to manual
