Bialaddin 300X´s

I have a couple of these lamps, although both marked 300x one Is constructed mostly of steel the other nearly all brass , I was curious why the two different builds Was the brass one available as a more expensive deluxe version ?

The steel lanterns are from the WW2., era when there was a shortage of brass.

 

I smell bitza- the 300x is post war, the only lanterns with predominantly steel construction are the wartime 300s... Post some photos please, we can probably sort out what's going on.
