Hi all
I bought this part with a lot of Optimus parts
I guess this is a tank protection for a heater
Who can help me identify it?

 

I have not seen that type before but it's probably a heat shield.

 

Yes, a heat shield for a stove based heater.
Most likely part no. 1716 for an Optimus, e.g. 710, as seen in this snippet from a catalogue (year 1956) posted by Bo Ryman at CCS.
(edit: also found it in here in a 1952 years catalogue posted by Nils here.)
