    Hi All, I thought I would share the latest finds with you over here in Northern Ireland.

    One question, are the 2 table lamps TL10s or TL11s? They have the gallery with internal springs.

    Tilley had different designations depending on the configuration of them.. perhaps this will help

    Thanks PB I thought that was the case. Do you know when they stopped using the gallery with the springs in the inside?

    I believe it was post war but I’m uncertain which year exactly?
    Your two table lamps in the first picture have the XN control cock so are pre war (WW II)

    edit: i think the pork pie table lamp was the first to have the springs on display?

    As far as I can ascertain the gallery with the external springs coincided with the "pork pie" tank, so circa 1946.
