    Hello,

I wonder if you can give me a hand with the item attached (see the pic). Is it a Petromax model?,if it is, can you provide some technical info?. The owner says it is a Petromax, but I think this might be another thing.
I just logged in some minutes ago.
    Regards,
    Adolfo

This is a gas lantern of unknown make, definitely not Petromax.
May be someone put in a Petromax globe as a replacement.

Looks just like an olderPrimus LPG lantern (Propane).
Or another brand. I guess many looked similar.

Thanks fireexit1. If I bought this lantern, how difficult would it be to use it again?. I mean, in those years, did people have to refill the tank before using it? Any tip would be useful.

I think you would have to work out what thread is on it and see if this is available in Chile. Or get an adaptor made. I think that the bottle you have is a 2Kg refillable one, but they may not want to refill it or swap it if it is too old.
