    Let the Fettle Free

Apart from a wee pin hole on the fount
Plus a lesson learned on the pickup
    Plus 2 mantles later

All the shiny bits post citric wash

I assumed that the pick was good

Alas a small hole that needed cleaning behind the screen

Handy that the little bugger comes off

I assumed that the asbestos sleeve was the issue
So 3 strips post putting together and various adjustments to where the little bugger should sit

I figured out fuel supply was the issue with the clogged pickup

There are a few designs on this lamp that are really good

    The slotted pricker
Plus the Brass insert for the gennie tip

    After a few lessons learned
A good dose of copper slip on all the moving parts

    New Viton seal
    And a pin hole repair
