Let the Fettle Free Apart from a wee pin hole on the fount Plus a lesson learned on the pickup Plus 2 mantles later All the shiny bits post citric wash I assumed that the pick was good Alas a small hole that needed cleaning behind the screen Handy that the little bugger comes off I assumed that the asbestos sleeve was the issue So 3 strips post putting together and various adjustments to where the little bugger should sit I figured out fuel supply was the issue with the clogged pickup There are a few designs on this lamp that are really good The slotted pricker Plus the Brass insert for the gennie tip After a few lessons learned A good dose of copper slip on all the moving parts New Viton seal And a pin hole repair We are good to roll Test on the work bench Now in a more "Natural " environment She is a roarer Plus very bright
